Follow Mode

See what they see, scroll where they scroll. Experience real-time collaboration through your teammate's eyes.

When you're really collaborating deep in the weeds, sometimes you need to see exactly what your teammate is seeing. Follow Mode transforms the way you work together by letting you literally follow another editor's perspective. Click any Avatar in the project header to be instantly teleported to their location and enter Follow Mode, where their view becomes your view.

While following, your timeline border takes on their signature color and their Avatar gets highlighted in the header for clear visual indication. As they zoom, scroll, or switch between views, you move in perfect sync. Need to break away? Just scroll or click anywhere in the timeline to regain control of your own view.

Soon, Follow Mode will become even more powerful by synchronizing the video previews between users in addition to the timeline view, so you can truly watch the same output together. Until then, use Cursor Chat by hitting the / key while hovering over the timeline to start typing out a message to your collaborators.
