Connect Claude to Sequence
Connect Claude to Sequence MCP to give Snippy tasks from your conversation. Choose your footage, describe the assembly or library work you need, and open Sequence to review and shape the result with your team.

Set up Sequence in Claude
- Open Customize → Connectors in Claude. Select Add, then Add custom connector, and name it Sequence. If your organization manages connectors, ask its owner to add the connector first.
- Paste the Sequence MCP server URL shown above. Continue through the connection settings and use OAuth sign-in when prompted.
- Sign in to Sequence and review the access request before allowing the connection. If an owner added the connector for your organization, select Connect to sign in with your own account.
- In a Claude conversation, open the plus menu and enable Sequence under Connectors. Tell Claude which workspace and project to use before asking Snippy to make changes.
Give Snippy a specific task
Replace the workspace, project, and material names in this example with your own:
In workspace Studio and project Short film, ask Snippy to build a stringout from the selects Intro, Interview answer, and Closing, in that order. Tell me when it is ready to review in Sequence.
Your Claude plan and organization settings control access to custom connectors. Each person connects with their own Sequence account. Snippy changes the shared Sequence project, and collaborators see those changes. Name the workspace, project, and material you want to use, then review the result in Sequence. AI usage is metered; check Pricing for allowances and additional usage charges.

Can Claude edit a Sequence project?
Yes. Connect Claude to Sequence MCP, choose a workspace and project, and ask Snippy to organize footage or prepare a timeline from your chosen material. Review and shape the changes in Sequence.
How do I sign in to Sequence from Claude?
Use OAuth when connecting the Sequence MCP server. Sign in to Sequence and review the requested access. You can revoke the connection in Sequence’s Connected Apps settings.
Why can’t I add or use the connector in Claude?
Your Claude plan and organization settings determine whether you can add custom connectors. In a managed organization, ask an owner to add Sequence, then connect your account. Enable the connector in the conversation where you want to use it.
