The library is Sequence's version of the Project panel — but it's shared, not a file you pass around: every folder, color, tag, and rating updates for the whole team the instant you make it, so there's no project file to export and no one else's bin changes to merge in.
Sequence also separates grouping files (folders) from marking moments (selects): label colors, ratings, and tags attach to a select, a named marked in/out range, rather than to a whole master clip the way a Premiere label color does.

Organizing in Sequence#
File media the way you filed bins: create a folder and drag clips into it. See Organize files in the library. For color, tags, and ratings, mark a range as a select first, then apply them from its right-click menu — see Tag and label media.
Collections build themselves from what your team tags, rates, and colors; see Collections. The preview monitor covers skimming, J-K-L shuttle, and range-setting the same way the source monitor did — see Preview and play back your media.
Colors and ratings need a select first
There's no way to color-label or star-rate a whole library clip the Premiere way. Mark a range as a select with Mark as Select (M) first, then apply the color, tag, or rating to that select. Deleting a select removes its name, color, tags, and rating for everyone on the project.
Characters fill in after processing
The Characters organizer stays empty (No characters detected) until transcription and processing finish. It's not a substitute for Premiere-style manual clip tagging by person.
